LOVELAND, CO – NOVEMBER 11, 2008 – McWhinney is proud to announce Kyle Lundy, Vice President of Business Development, has earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the CCIM Institute, an industry affiliate of the National Board of Realtors (NAR). Only 6% of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation.
Recognized for its preeminence in the industry, the CCIM curriculum represents the core knowledge expected of commercial investment professionals. The curriculum consists of four core courses that incorporate the essential CCIM skill sets: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate.
Following course work required for the CCIM designation, candidates must then submit a portfolio of closed transactions showing a depth of experience in the commercial investment field. The candidate must also complete a comprehensive examination to earn the designation.
The CCIM membership network includes brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys, banks, and other allied professionals.
